Title: Complaint Investigations Tech/Mobile Application Tester Location: Alameda, CA 94502 Duration: 6 Months Start Time (AM/PM) 8AM End Time (AM/PM) 4PM Manager is looking for: List 3-5 hard requirements for the role: Must have Experience (strong skills) with working in Excel (Experience working in Excel: An expert/proficiency level would definitely stand out, including but not limited to V-lookup, pivot tables, and other advanced functions, to analyze data and drive insights. My team is heavily dependent on Excel sheets, and this candidate should be able to navigate them professionally.) Ability to follow SOPs. Ability to navigate and utilize JIRA and Confluence. Not required but strongly preferred. List any preferred requirements that would stand out on a resume: Mobile application testing. Experience writing test cases/design of experiments. Experience working in Post Market Surveillance in a regulated industry. List Top 3 Skills you are looking for: Effective communication and collaboration; Critical thinking/problem solving; Team contributor, ability to not only identify issues but bring the solutions to the table. Years' of experience required: 1-2 (depends on the education level as well) Required education level/certifications: Bachelor's degree. Preferably in biomedical engineering, software engineering, or similar. Manager will consider lower level of education as long as has the experience. Daily tasks/duties and department interactions: Handling software complaint investigations for multiple consecutive hours on mobile apps Investigating software complaints and performing test cases to identify issues. Working cross-functionally to communicate ongoing issues and identifying root cause. Attending team meetings to provide procedural and performance enhancement ideas. Monthly or quarterly metrics the candidate will be measured on: Daily/weekly/monthly number of cases cleared with high quality. Description of work environment/department: Team of 10 (including manager). Team sits in a bright beautiful office very close to one another. Majority part of the day/week team is sitting at the computer and processing the cases. One or two days a week (some period during day) team members need to be in the lab conducting testing, replication and investigations as needed.
