Mold Set up
Schedule: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Monday through Friday) 40 hrs.
Pay: $14.61 hourly
Shift: 3rd. with a differential of $0.50
Education, Special Skills, and Required Experience:
High School completed at an accredited institution and minimum experience of six (6) months
in the use of injection molding machines or automated machines, required.
Have knowledge in the area of injection molding.
Basic reading and comprehension of English/Spanish.
Mechanical skills such as: hydraulic, electrical, and electronic, related to the plastic molding process,
preferably are required.
Knowledge and/or experience with measurement tools such as: calipers, micrometers, pin gages,
preferably.
Basic knowledge in reading plans and computerized panels, preferably.
Brief Description of Tasks:
Responsible for maintaining control of the process by adjusting to pre-set parameters.
Using the personal protective equipment required by Occupational Safety and a variety of hand and automatic equipment and tools, it removes, installs and processes the molds on the molding machines meeting quality standards.
Prepares all the auxiliary equipment necessary to operate, such as: temperature controllers, dryers part, separators, etc.
Generates "Job Orders" requesting maintenance and/or repair services for molds, machines and/or auxiliary equipment, when necessary.
Other tasks according to the needs of the department can be assigned
