Position DescriptionThe Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health's Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Population Sciences invite applications for a joint post-doctoral fellowship in cancer prevention and control. The postdoctoral research fellowships, which begin in September 2025, are funded for two years and do not result in a degree. The program's objective is to train researchers in the design and evaluation of cancer prevention and control. Applicants may work in any area related to cancer prevention. Potential areas of research include: implementation science, global cancer, cancer disparities, and health communications.
Basic QualificationsApplicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Applicants for the post-doctoral position should have a doctoral degree in the Social and Behavioral Sciences (e.g. sociology, psychology, economics); epidemiology; biostatistics; decision sciences; nutrition; nursing; genetics; education; medicine; or related fields.
Additional QualificationsWe aim to have a diverse applicant pool, so applications from underrepresented minorities, women, and applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds are especially encouraged.
