Network Technician

Our client, an American multinational technology company that operates in multiple sectors, including e-commerce, cloud computing, and digital streaming, is looking for someone to join their team as a Network Technician. This role is 100% onsite. **This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits offered!** In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment to drive the expansion of the client's next-generation networks, deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes and work closely with the network engineering & network technical project manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of new designs and products.
What You Will Be Doing Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflowTroubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low level application interactionComplete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing systemParticipate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware Required Skills & Experience 1-2 years of relevant experienceKnowledge of network cabling and standard optic typesEthernet and IP networking knowledge and experience in the application of IP protocolsSubstantial background in large scale datacenter network implementations and supportExperience working in virtualized enterprise networking environments
