We have an opportunity for a Dynamic Network Technician to join our team.
The Network Technician is responsible for Perform Level 1 technical support.
Primary Responsibilities
Receive customer trouble calls, open trouble tickets, determine critical level of the situation and enter customer problem information on the system.
Follow up and perform level 1 customer support procedures.
Provide detailed situation report for unsolved tickets and escalade to Level 2 or 3 Support if necessary.
Create reports from problem resolution.
Monitor customer alarms from the Networks Monitoring System when is necessary.
Perform preventive maintenance from customer alarms when is necessary.
Create statistics reports for technical Support Supervisor.
Configures network components and associated services.
Sets up and maintains basic network operations.
Responds to needs and questions of customers concerning their access and connection to the network.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Networking
One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Network + or A+ Preferably
Core competencies:
Customer Service oriented.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Capable of manage a large amount of incoming calls.
Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple deliverables.
Willingness to work hard and take direction.
Action-oriented and willing to collaborate and be a team player.
Must be fully bilingual (Spanish and English)
Able to work nights, different shifts and weekends.
