Job Description Summary:
Under the guidance of the Neurodiagnostic II and the supervision of the Manager, the Neurodiagnostic Technician performs one or more of several Neurodiagnostic tests. These tests include: EEG; Evoked Potentials;WADA Studies; Intraoperative Monitoring; Transcranial Doppler.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
One to three months related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of and Experience. Formal classroom in Neurodiagnostic testing. Requirements: Employee will be required to sit for and pass both Part I and Part 2 of the ABRET registration examination. Upon hire, Associates have three years to complete their and obtain their Certification. Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent formal training. Eligible for part I of the ABRET registration. One or more years of clinical Experience in Neurodiagnostic testing.
