Required Qualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Ability to work independently and be a self starter Credentialed as ROCC Credentialed as CCS or COC or CPC 3 years ROCC coding experience Experience with ASTRO and ACR policies and guidelines for coding and billing Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, disease process and medical terminology in treatment modalities Knowledge of ICD-10 CM and CPT coding Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues Thorough knowledge of the practices, procedures, and concepts of the healthcare revenue cycle and its component operations, including billing, collections, charge capture, contractual adjustments, third-party reimbursements, and cash management. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Experience working in an academic setting
