Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our esteemed client's workforce on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a passion for patient care, and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras, PET scanners, and computer systems
Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
Process and analyze images to provide accurate and high-quality diagnostic information
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate course of treatment for patients
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to the handling and disposal of radioactive materials
Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques through continuing education and training.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Strong technical skills and knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
