Nurse Assessor

Must Have:

Active RN license in NY state Home Health experience within the last 15 years New York State ID or Driver's License Tech savvy with computer/technology Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Average assessments - 2.5 hours Remote Days: 3 assessments per day In Person Days: 2 assessments per day Sometimes a Clinician will go in with a Nurse etc. Job Duties: Ability to conduct in-home health assessments throughout the assigned region in the state of New York. Ability to review health status questions and make evaluations and determinations based on UAS criteria. Computer literacy including ability to navigate Web-based applications, Microsoft Outlook & Microsoft Word; ability to navigate and conduct assessments via Zoom. Knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of general professional nursing; knowledge of state and agency laws and regulations governing general professional nursing practices Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-generational consumers. Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the concerns of others. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and a strong ability to work independently
