Nutritionist

Ohel is seeking an experienced Nutritionist in our family centered Brooklyn-based clinic to be part of our dedicated team who is committed to delivering exemplary treatment while harnessing the latest evidence-based and cutting-edge practice models. Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to clients on any dietary issues and healthy eating habits and best practices in nutrition Assess clients' nutritional and health needsDevelop nutrition plans while taking into account the client's budget and tastesCreate educational material about healthy eating habits and facilitate sharing, exchange of information and mutual supportRead and contribute to the latest nutritional research, disseminating best practicesSpeak to groups about the importance of nutrition to prevent specific diseases

Candidate should be a strong communicator, have excellent writing and computer skills. Must be able to work with a team, including therapists, prescribers, and case managers, to support client growth. Bachelors degree in nutrition or related field with 3 years' experience orMasters degree in nutrition or related field with one years experience required.This part time is 8-10 hours a week and based in Brooklyn.

Salary: $100-$110 an hour
