Nutritionist

Job Summary
As a Nutritionist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutrition plans, and providing dietary counseling to promote overall health and well-being.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' nutritional status
- Perform patient assessments to determine dietary needs and restrictions
- Develop personalized nutrition plans based on individual health goals
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients on various topics such as weight loss, healthy eating habits, and disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in hospitals and long-term care facilities to ensure optimal patient care
- Specialize in areas such as tube feeding, dietetics, health coaching, and aliment management
- Work in diverse settings including acute care, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and patient assessment
- Knowledge of hospital nutrition practices and tube feeding techniques
- Experience in weight loss management and health coaching
- Familiarity with long-term care nutritional requirements
- Strong understanding of dietetics principles
- Ability to provide comprehensive nutritional support in acute care settings
