O&M Maintenance Technician

O&M Technician for highly efficient natural gas combined cycle facility featuring GE gas and GE steam turbines with air cooled condensers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assures operational efficiency, unit reliability and compliance with safety and environmental standards.Collecting and recording all necessary equipment and Instrumentation data and manually operating valves.Monitoring and operating plant equipment and responding to plant upset events and emergencies.Maintain, troubleshoot and repair of all plant equipment to include instrumentation, control systems, mechanical, and electrical equipment.Performs predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance.Makes operating decisions based on plant procedures, environmental regulations, safety procedures, and using good judgment based on operating data.Primarily focused on plant operations and will require rotating 12-hour shift work. Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in power plant operations and/or maintenance at a Combined Cycle Power Plant, as a qualified plant operator and/or maintenance technicianExperience in operations of a distributed control systems (DCS) preferredDemonstrates knowledge and proficiency in the Operations and Maintenance of a combustion turbine generating station, including balance of plant equipment.Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and other computer-based productivity tools.Physical requirements include lifting 50lbs, standing for long periods, walking, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling etc.
