Ob/Gyn Physician Urgent Need Needed For Locums In Michigan

West Branch (Physician/MD qualifications required) Obstetrics And Gynecology - Dates needing coverage:
July 5 Orientation at 8 or 10am (depending on Epic Experience)
July 5 4p-July 7 7a
July 18 7a-July 22 7a
August 1 4p-August 6 7a
- One full day of in-person orientation must be completed prior to starting.
- Need to have completed 50 deliveries and 25 GYN Cases in the last 12 months to be considered as this is a requirement for credentialing.
- West Branch unit re-opened maternity|L&D|pediatrics in March 2021.
- Will start with around 100-150 deliveries a year (definite growth) – will be quite slow starting out as we are bringing this program back to the area (10 years later).
- Need to have a full MI license, DEA, and Cs3.
- Medical School on California approved list.
- Residency from ACGME Approved list.
- No large malpractice issues.
- Clear|minimal cases on NPDB.
- Rural area and there is a local hotel to stay in with many places to eat as well as a home rental right near the hospital – right off of I-75 and lots of lakes in the area and possible Airbnb around those lakes, Houghton and Higgins Lake.
- We are looking for perm and are actively recruiting.
I would prefer to staff with an OBGYN that is comfortable doing inpatient and outpatient; however, with the timing of this need, I am willing to staff with an OBGYN that prefers to do inpatient only, just has to meet credentialing criteria as stated above.
