DescriptionPosition Details: Occupational Therapist, Full-time, 40 hrs/week, Monday-FridayNon-Exempt, HourlyBenefited position, coverage eligibility will begin 1st of the month following date of hire.Position Summary: Evaluates, selects, performs, and/or directs assistance in educational, vocational and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients, upon physician's referral. Works with family and health team members regarding patient's abilities and goals.RequirementsEducation:Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Eligible for license or current license from the State of Oregon. Current valid Oregon driver's license required. Current CPR certification required.Experience: Desired, but not required.Job Knowledge: Must have a current knowledge of Occupational Therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical and mental health concepts. Understands the principles of team approach and recognizes capabilities and limitations of other team members. Must possess a positive attitude and utilize excellent communication skills.
