Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Oak Park, IL

Details:

Role: Full-time, 35 hours/week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Caseload: Elementary and Middle school students
Start Date: August 2024
End Date: June 2025
School site: Single location

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students' functional skills
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive care
Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed, documenting outcomes
Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting processes

Requirements:

Valid Illinois state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
Dedication to enhancing students' occupational performance and independence
