The On-site Zoom AV Technician main responsibility will be within Zoom Room project activities, however, during downtime there may be lite work and help needed around Zoom Phone. Basic knowledge to be independent and ready to go on day one, but specific knowledge on customer's internal process will be provided. Essential Functions: Troubleshooting and User Support of Zoom Rooms and General Zoom inquiriesTraining and supporting L1 and other technical staffProviding executive support and training to executive admins as neededMonitoring of eventsProactive support (Monitoring, Config and Updates, System Optimization)Validation of new Software and Hardware including BetaEscalation to Zoom Engineering if determined a Zoom Software issue.Recording and reporting of issues (case tracking, weekly/monthly reporting)Install, repair and configuration of Zoom RoomsReview A/V and M&E line drawings for new Zoom Rooms.Document & inventory Zoom Room & Phone appliances.Provisioning of customer's approved hardwareCreate & setup Zoom Room account profiles.Assist as Tier1 for networkable Zoom & Crestron appliances that may be offline during validation.Perform site surveys during hand off from Aa/V integrator to ensure rooms are complete and ready for validation.Perform functional validation of each Zoom Room to ensure the room account is online, appliances updated to the latest firmware, OS & software version, configured correctly & all Zoom Room features are operational.As time permits, may help with the Zoom Phone rollout Technical Skills: Zoom Room (Required).Zoom Phone (Optional).Zoom Portal (Required).Video, Audio & Control line drawings (Required).Mechanical & Electrical drawings (Required). Qualifications: Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needsKnowledge and understanding of the Audio Visual and Video Collaboration industryGood verbal and written communication skills.Able to work well with others to get through hurdles.Able to prioritize important versus urgent tasks & activities.Able to trouble shoot, identify & resolve problems. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full time, 40 hours per week.
Required Education and Experience: Experience in a Telephony Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
