Description
Responsible for the overall operation and development of the AGMU Online Division in accordance with norms, policies and procedures established by AGMU. Leads all academic and administrative related processes. Leads the strategic planning process for the development of a formal Strategic Plan in accordance with AGMU's vision and mission. Analyzes and recommends any changes or modifications to academic programs based on actual and future student's demand. Develop and coordinates faculty development activities. Coordinates workshops for new faculty recruitment. Coordinates new faculty orientation sessions according to AGMU By-Laws, Faculty Handbook and procedures and policies. Serves as a liaison between AGMU Campuses and the different operational areas. Develops and implements operational activities, norms, and procedures to ensure enrollment, budget, administrative and academic goals. Supervises the planning and implementation of marketing and recruitment activities based on the Campus Marketing Plan. Responsible for the elaboration and implementation of the Campus operational budget based on policies and projections. Responsible for student retention, productivity, and enrollment goals. Supervises and evaluates Directive staff in accordance with productivity and general institutional policies and principles. Analyzes all available statistical reports for decision-making. Prepares reports and other requested documents. Conducts student representative meetings. Gathers and analyses data for the elaboration of student's course scheduling. Maintains control of course schedule. Responsible for enhancing community relationships through a positive institutional image. Represents the AGMU Online Division in external activities throughout the community as well as professional and social organizations. Responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive environment that stimulates interaction, ethics and respect between students, faculty, administration, and the general community. Maintains and correctly manages confidential information in accordance with FERPA regulations.
Requirements
Master's degree in education or administration area. Six (6) years of experience in high levels of administration in a higher education environment. Proven supervisory and leadership skills through outcomes in previous work experiences. Knowledge and experience of adult education and services to the adult learner (a plus). Proven experience in key areas such as management, public relations, recruitment, conflict resolution, decision-making and problem solving. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required. Computer competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and LMS Systems. Experience and knowledge of Anthology, Canvas system (desirable). Available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, when necessary. Available to travel in or out of the United States for trainings, conferences, or meetings. Ability to express both, verbal and written, fluently (English and Spanish).
