Team Overview:
The Operations Team at SOE supports the company as a whole to create the necessary environment for the best engineering to occur. Each member of the team comes from unique and diverse backgrounds to ensure the company is properly resourced and that money flows smoothly and responsibly throughout the organization.
Job Overview:
The Operations Coordinator role interacts with all aspects of the SOE business to enable its activities, all the way from daily transactional activities such as purchasing, inventory, and logistics to helping with process improvement and deployment of new company systems.
What You Will Do:
Transactional Activities
Handle and fulfill purchasing and shipping requests while escalating problems to senior members of the Operations Team, including monitoring communications on group email accounts for purchasing operationsManage vendors, including initial onboarding and working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issuesProcess incoming invoices and bills to ensure timely payment and quality of accountingLiaison with subcontractors and independent contractors on payment and contractual mattersAssist with office and facility management tasks, such as lab and facilities inventory, scheduling and supervising maintenance personnel, and organizing preventative maintenance activities
Process Improvement
Assist on and eventually lead projects to improve systems and processes that support SOE Operations
Project Controls
