In order to strengthen our Operations Team in the US, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking candidate to fill the available position of Operations Manager at our Puerto Rico office in Puerto Rico.
OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The operations manager position manages local scheduling and real-time operations that facilitate the maximization of resources (human and automated) to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence and economic goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage daily operations in the facility, ensuring that production quality standards, and deadlines are met.
Implement production schedules to align with demand forecasts and ensure timely delivery of products.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on production performance, challenges, and achievements.
Supervise, train, and evaluate Production, Technical and Software / QA staff. Ensure team members are performing effectively and address any personnel issues.
Monitor and enforce quality control processes to ensure that slot machines meet all required specifications and industry standards.
Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices to provide a safe working environment for all employees.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Ensure that all production documentation, including specifications, procedures, and compliance records, is properly maintained and readily accessible.
Ensure that production processes comply with industry regulations and standards, including company policies.
Address and resolve any operational problems or production delays that may arise.
Implement training programs for new and existing staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about production processes and safety procedures.
Handle any customer-related issues or queries regarding the production of slot machines, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Manage and control production costs by optimizing resource utilization, reducing waste, and implementing cost-saving measures.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and employee performance, and use this data to drive improvements.
Lead or participate in special projects related to process improvements, new product introductions, or facility upgrades.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster aid promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
Address and resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise within the team or between different departments.
Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning processes as appropriate.
Recommends salary adjustments, transfers, promotions, and dismissals.
Perform other duties as assigned and or requested by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for leadership, performance management and hiring of the employees within its department.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in statistics, operations management, business management or equivalent and/or 5-7 years previous operations management experience, including forecasting, scheduling, and real-time operations management.
Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff.
Excellent skills and knowledge in operations
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Must be able to lift a min. of 50 lbs.
Excellent computer skills, must be familiar with Excel, Word, and Outlook Programs
