Oregon Registered Occupational Therapist: Friday-Monday

Job Description:

Job Summary: Evaluates, selects, performs and/or directs assistance in educational, vocational and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients, upon physicians referral. Works with family and health team members regarding patients abilities and goals.

Education: Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Eligible for license or current license from the State of Oregon. Current valid Oregon drivers license required. Current CPR certification required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have necessary requisites for licensure as a Occupational Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health. Current CPR certification required

Experience/Knowledge: Must have a current knowledge of occupationaltherapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures,general medicine, surgical and mental health concepts. Understands the principles of team approachand recognizes capabilities and limitations of other team members. Must possess a positive attitude and utilizegood communication skills. Effectiveteam skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
