A Non-profit FQHC which is the largest provider of primary health services in Fairfield County is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to provide care to Patients in the Bridgeport facility. This Full Time Psychiatrist to work with Adults within a multidisciplinary team to provide Psychiatric Care including evaluations and medication management for a diverse patient base. The Psychiatrist will interview, assess, diagnose and treat patients appropriately within the standard of care. Prescribe psycho-therapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional or behavioral disorders Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Professionals to discuss treatment plans and patient progress. Provide individual professional consultation among Professional Staff for the purposes of in servicing/education as necessary to provide increased level of service to patients. The ideal candidate will be boarded (Certified or Eligible) in Psychiatry with a desire to work with the medically under-served population Competitive compensation plus productivity incentive.
