Packaging Engineer

Title: Packaging Engineer Location: Lake Forest, IL Job Description: On the manufacturing site, they manufacture test kits.Work with suppliers, get samples of packaging material, test those packaging materials, and write protocols for qualification of those materials. Performance qualification, operation qualification, and validation work. Having this kind of experience is strongly preferred.Write protocols to test those materials, and write test reports for those materials.In terms of material, plastic film, paper board, and corrugated board. Paper board covers the curtains that they ship, and corrugated board is in cases of 12 in shipping boxes.SAP and CAD experience will be nice to have. Education and Experience: Bachelors required (Packaging Engineering degree; based on years of experience, their next preference will be mechanical or chemical engineering). Top Skills: Familiarity with packaging materials: plastic films, paper board, and corrugated board.Experience with validation protocols: Operation Qualification and Performance Qualification.
