Description Job Duties and Responsibilities: Walnut Creek, CA 94596 Maintain order in the parking facility, provide professional customer service, monitor the facility for safety and security, collect parking fees when necessary, assist in maintaining the cleanliness facility, be ready to perform related work as required. Always report to work on time, in full company issued uniform and clock-in for work before starting your daily dutiesAlways adhere to all company rules and policies. When in doubt ask for clarification by your immediate supervisor, then proceed up the chain of command if necessary, to achieve complete understanding of suchUsing the facility (shift) opening check list ensure the facility is in complete operating conditionWhen/if applicable perform facility closing check list as provided by your supervisorVerify fee computer operating fund Verify automatic payment machines' operating fund if applicableVerify full functionality of all parking equipment: fee computer, automatic payment machines, ticket dispensers, ticket acceptors, all barrier gates along with the gate armsVerify the existence of all facility keys, attendant emergency access card, and all other facility operating tools attendants should carry during their shiftTake inventory of overnight parked vehicles when opening the facility, closing the facility or as directed by the managerPerform daily cleaning per the daily check list provided by your supervisorComplete daily revenue collection report per the location operating procedures and as directed by your supervisorReport all extraordinary incidents using company issued incident report forms and as directed by your supervisorAssist patrons to park their vehicles in designated areas for all types of vehiclesMonitor the parking facility for improperly parked vehicles, issue citations as neededBe ready at all times to answer questions from the public enthusiastically Qualifications Job Qualifications: Customer service and courtesy skills a must.Ability to communicate, read, write in English.Ability to understand and follow instructions.Self-motivated individual, with a pleasant personality.Must enjoy working with people.Team PlayerMust maintain a neat and clean appearance. No visible tattoos. (Long sleeve uniform shirt available) Facial hair must be clean or neatly trimmed.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment.Must be able to clear a background check.Cashier experience preferred.Position offers a set schedule weekly schedule.Extra hours available.
