*Part Time Dental Hygienist Monday and Wednesday ONLY*

We are looking for a part time Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health. As a previous hygienist, Dr. Kottman knows the daily struggles and difficulties a hygiene experiences. Because of this, she values a strong hygiene department and a patient centered approach to care.
We are an all female, locally owned dental office in Grove City. Our office provides up-to-date technology in a warm, home-like setting. We pride ourself on paying specific attention to each patient's needs and treating everyone like family! As a close knit office, it is imperative our perfect candidate is a team player, someone who will contribute equally to the success of the office. But, it's also a requirement to have fun! We enjoy spending time as a team in the office and out.

*Responsibilities*
* Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible during their appointment
* Conduct initial exams, including oral and medical histories
* Take Radiographs and intraoral Itero scans
* Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
* Provide various levels of cleanings including prophylaxis and scaling and root planing
* Apply fluoride
* Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene instructions
* Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
* Sterilize dental instruments properly

* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
* Diploma in Dental Hygiene

Pay: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 16 per week
