JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care using standards of care, policy, and procedure. Provides direct nursing care to patients, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participates in shared decision making, unit committee, and quality improvement activities. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. All new to practice RNs will be placed into the RN Residency Program. Intermediate computer knowledge required.
