$5K Sign-On Bonus for candidates with 1+ year of experience as a GI Tech Position Details Full-time Only - Monday - Friday, Daytime hours, 8 hours per day
No weekends or holidays (unless on call)
Includes on-call duties
Requirements High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Preferred, NOT required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program, Certified Nursing Assistance program or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Experience as a Medical assistant, Patient Care Tech/Nursing Assistant or similar position highly preferred
Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required, basic computer experience, able to take vitals and perform CPR
CPR (Basic life support) issued by American Heart Association upon hire.
Job Duties Room patients, take vital signs
Maintain the procedure room set up, equipment care and maintenance
Assist with specimen collection
Assist physicians during procedures
Disinfect instruments
Assist with patient care under the supervision of the RN
