Primary Duties: Serves as the initial contact person at the medical practice or\rhospital department and greets patients in a courteous and professional manner. The Patient Service Coordinator manages the intake of patients into the\rpractice, screens for emergent conditions, registers, verifies and explains\rpatient responsibility for payment. Performs check in and check out procedures by inputting patient charges\rand verifying demographic and insurance information. Coordinates efficient patient flow through the practice or hospitalize\rdepartment assigned. Supports organization initiatives related to modern technology, clinical\rprograms and improving the patient experience. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 6 months - 1 yr. providing high quality customer\rservice required, preferably in a healthcare setting. ICD 9 and 10 Code Experience preferred.\r\r \r This position has a hiring range of $18.33 - $29.96 \r
