Forge Hill in Franklin is an assisted living community for older adults who value their independence but need assistance with activities of daily living. Our assisted living community offers attentive professional staff 24 hours a day, dedicated programs, and dignified dining for life enrichment.
After successful completion of the combined classroom and hands on clinical training you will be able to work and provide care for the residents at Forge Hill, a Benchmark Senior Living Community, in Franklin, MA. We are currently accepting applications and holding interviews for our class starting January 23rd, 2024. Purpose: The PCA who graduates from this program will be able to provide care and companionship to our residents who enjoy socialization and guidance during their daily activities.
We start you at $17/hr during training and onboarding, with an increase to our starting rate, upon successful completion of the program you will increase to $19/hr.We will have Part Time opportunities available (weekend availability required).PLEASE NOTE: Training Program requires availability to work for initial 3 weeks, full time hoursRequirements for applicants: Full time availability for 3 week trainingAbility to work a minimum of 24 hours each week when training is completedResume and three professional referencesHigh School Diploma preferredPrevious experience working with seniors highly desirablePCA Responsibilities: Assisting residents with their meals, transferring using appropriate assistive devices, bathing, toileting, dressing and groomingInteracting with our residents and families on a daily basisUtilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional careFollowing the Resident Care Standards and Practices to ensure proper procedures are followedCommunication
Demonstrates personal and resident safetyAnswers residents' urgent call alarms in a timely mannerReviews and demonstrates fire, safety, and elopement proceduresResponds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backupReacts calmly and effectively in emergency situationsCustomer Service
