Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse The Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing services to medically fragile students under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include providing health services to students, maintaining health records, and working cooperatively with school personnel.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing Current State of Illinois LPN license and CPR certificate Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of licensed practical nursing principles Experience working with pediatric patients Ability to work with culturally diverse student backgrounds Experience and Education: 3 years of pediatric experience and graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing with a valid pharmacology certificate.
