Description Per Diem Gastroenterology Opportunity –Danbury/New Milford, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a per diem Gastroenterologist at Danbury and New Milford Hospitals in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County and next to Westchester County in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly growing Digestive Health Institute in a long established and busy practice with 17 physicians and 11 advanced practitioners. The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team and provide per diem coverage.Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
