We seek aPer Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Hours:This is a Per Diem role, will be working on an as needed basis only to cover PTOs and call-outs at two sites in San Francisco (San Francisco sites are about 2 miles apart) and occasionally the site in Gualala, CA. Pharmacy Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30am 4pm (lunch 12pm 12:30pm) Location:245 11th STREET STE P1 SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94103 Primary Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staffFills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacistOrders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy suppliesReceives and processes wholesaler medication ordersVerifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsWorks with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clerical duties relating to the departmentCommunicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skillsOccasional deliveries will be required when needed, would be less than 10% of the time, would be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage (deliveries would be to other facilities only, never to residences)Other duties as assignedYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
