Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):
Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their homePerforming housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroomPreparing meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompanying client on errands or medical appointmentsBathing/Showering/Dressing/ShavingMedication remindersAssisting with prescribed range of motion exercisesDementia careCompanionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc. Qualifications and Skills: 2 years of experience with an Homecare Agency or Facility supporting Non-Family Members. High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobPass a background checkHome Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred Needed Credentials: Valid Driver's License Valid Car Insurance Social Security Card/PassportNon-Expired Negative TB testCPR & First Aid Certifications Mortor Vehicle Report for past 7 years Benefits
