Pharmacy Tech Contract To Hire

Large managed care company is looking for a licensed Pharmacy Technician with great communication skills for a contract to hire position. WORK LOCATION: Pine Brook, NJ 07058 PAY: $22.00 CONTRACT DATES: 10/06/2024 to 12/31/2024- HIRE HOURS: full-time (40 hours/week) Sunday – Thursday. Candidates are required to have flexibility to work our 8 hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of (3pm – 11:30pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion) Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided Contact members / patients to validate data, resolve rejected claims, request payment information, establish priority of order or delivery details, consult on medication issues, and set up treatment in on-site facilities Interpret provider prescription and create order, access, input and retrieve prescription and medical / lab information from computer system, verifies whether order / drug is reimbursable / covered QUALIFICATIONS Highschool/GED or equivalent Texas board of Pharmacy Licensed Technician Prior pharmacy/infusion experience is preferred Good communication skills Able to multi-task Able to lift up to 30 lbs continuously
