Delivers medication and ensures appropriate handling and storage.Filling Medication Requests Fills medication requests and completes required documentation following the organization's policies and procedures.Distribution Documentation Maintains distribution documentation and records in compliance with all regulatory standards.Supply Inventory Maintenance Maintains drug and supply inventory in distribution areas. Maintains proper storage, inventory and security conditions for medications. Removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal according to departmental guidelines.Pharmacy Procurement Places medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.Service Request Prioritization Prioritizes urgent need service requests and ensures immediate response and follow up.Preparing Sterile Products Prepares hazardous and non-hazardous sterile products using aseptic technique, follows safe handling guidelines for hazardous materials, and complies with set procedures in order to maintain the integrity of compounded sterile products and maintain patient/worker safety.
