Position Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a PA as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.
What you will do
We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team at the University Hospitals Center for Orthopedics. This position requires travel between locations on the Westside of Cleveland to include Amherst, Elyria, North Olmsted, Sheffield and Westlake. This is a full-time, day shift position; Monday through Friday, with 3 days in clinic and 2 days in the OR. Experienced Orthopedic PA or similar surgery background strongly preferred.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Qualifications Education Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program Required Work Experience 1+ years as a Physician Assistant Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated leadership skills. Required Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. Required Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. Required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
