We are seeking comprehensively trained Pilates Instructors to teach group reformer classes on Mondays and Fridays at Club Pilates Oak Park. Daytime hours are available! Club Pilates strives to create an inclusive environment and make Pilates more accessible to more bodies. We offer leveled classes to welcome bodies who are new to Pilates. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pilates and helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. If you are a professional Pilates instructor who is energetic, friendly, willing to learn, build relationships with potential and existing clients, and lead dynamic apparatus focused workout routines, you'll be a great addition to our team. We are looking for instructors with confidence in working with all level of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner.
Club Pilates offers consistent earnings from block scheduling and shifts (several classes in a row), the ability to teach multiple level classes, club membership, continuing education, employee status (not independent contractor), room for growth and a supportive & fun environment! REQUIREMENTS:
Current full apparatus Pilates Certification 450+ hours (or mat + reformer certification welcome to apply)Experience teaching group classesAbility to demonstrate effective group reformer instructionEnergetic, positive and motivational teaching styleCapable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercisesPunctual, reliable and dedicatedFocus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates level and safety group class guidelinesInstruct clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experienceConduct private, semi-private, Intro class or other additional sessions as neededVisually inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to useMaintain a clean and orderly workout environmentAssist with client check-inBe a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates.
