Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop fully integrated metals craft fabrication cost estimates.
Develop work plans plus manpower loading to achieve the business objective.
Develop job scope definition with proper sequencing of tasks required for job execution
Ensure planned activities are included in integrated work schedule through effective communication with Operations, Maintenance, Technical, and turnaround core teams.
Update work plans and estimates and report progress during work execution.
Utilize the Turnaround database and Turnaround planning documentation.
Works with Scheduler to develop detailed and optimized construction schedules. Works with contract partners to reconcile estimates for assigned turnarounds/ jobs.
Work with Turnaround / Project scheduler to establish resource loaded schedules for unit outages using applicable scheduling tool (i.E. Primavera), fully integrating Capital or Expense projects to achieve business unit requirements.
Interface with Operators, Technical, Maintenance, Construction Contractors, and Management to complete projects Incident and Injury free, on time and on budget.
Willing to develop understanding of Client s standards/ level of detail used in building Primavera schedules for assignment area
Ensure refinery and HES standards are integrated into job plans and estimates. Must gain knowledge of all safe work practices and procedures (e.G., lock out / tag out, confined space entry, hot work, personnel protection, etc.)
Track the physical progress of executed field work and provide reports relative to baselines to Management as required.
Define and quantify additional job scope via formal scope growth / change management process. Incorporate approved scope changes into execution plans. Provide the required communication to Management regarding captured scope growth or changes.
Support the applicable planning / execution work process for assignment area (turnaround, routine and maintenance projects).
Qualifications and Education Requirements
MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience as a planner dealing with piping/pipefitting
- Experience working in the Oil and Gas/Refinery industry
- Basic computer skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $65.00- $75.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver s license and current state-required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
