Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst, Buyer/Planner to serve one of our principal clients. This is a Short-Term Temporary job that requires physical presence in manufacturing areas.
Must live in Puerto Rico and is not eligible for relocation or travel benefits. Applicants must speak Spanish.

Responsibilities:
Support Supply Chain activities such as Detailed Scheduling at sub-assembly levels (Extrusion, Molding) and Finish Goods. Primary contact for external customers, sister sites & other third parties. Execute the Production Plan of Sub assembles/Finish Goods required for Customer Demand and New Product introduction.
Assist by expediting or deferring purchase orders. Assure timely and accurate data on purchase order in terms of price quantity, delivery and confirmation dates and shipping notifications. Perform data analysis to identify root cause to deviations (egg. material shortages, purchasing price variance (PPV), supplier delays etc.). Generate monthly weekly and daily KPI.
Assist on the execution on MRP (Material Requirement Planning) messages by providing a production plan. Monitor the work orders. Participate and execute cost reduction and cycle time reduction initiatives. Update changes/parameters within MRP (Material Requirements Planning) in the Manufacturing Enterprise system.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration 1-3 years of related experience in purchasing and/or production control. Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, and Word; ERP (e.g JDE/SAP), preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills, both in Spanish and English. Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP II) and inventory management programs (e.g, JIT/Kanban, Min/Max). Some knowledge of market and economic indicators, practices and procurement procedures. Two months Professional Services Contract (135312)
Compensation is negotiable according to the educational background and experience of the candidate.

For a Professional Services contract it is required to have a Merchants Registration from Depto. de Hacienda de PR (SURI) and a Certification of Insurance Policy with Corporación del Fondo del Seguro del Estado (FSE). Contracts are extended depending on our client's needs.
