Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Preconstruction Manager with a strong background in Commercial Mechanical construction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Estimating, Design Review, and managing the preconstruction process specifically related to Mechanical Piping, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Preconstruction department Collaborate closely with the estimating team to ensure accurate estimates Manage a team of Project Engineers Liaise with subcontractors on submittals and Request for Information (RFI) Negotiate subcontract buyouts Interpret and comprehend project specifications Develop master budgets and cost models for HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing Maintain and update cost databases Review and provide feedback on estimates from others
