**About the Job**
We are seeking an expert-level Data Analyst to join our Acquisition Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing actionable insights into gross adds performance and promotions effectiveness to optimize our acquisition strategies. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, proficiency with data analytics tools, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations. You will employ trend analysis, predictive modeling, statistics, and other data analysis techniques to solve a variety of business problems and build compelling business cases.
**Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View**
Excel in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of a diverse array of data to discover causal relationships, identify trigger points, and make informed predictions.
Quantify the significance of data variances and employ a wide spectrum of statistical methods, from traditional to innovative approaches, to support sound decision-making.
Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track performance across different segments
Create and deliver compelling reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids, utilizing strong capabilities in communication, data storytelling, and presentation skills to effectively share findings and influence strategic directions.
Lead multiple initiatives and large-scale data projects, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of results.
Assess the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, providing insights to optimize performance and return on investment (ROI).
Offer guidance and mentorship to colleagues, enhancing the team's analytical skills and fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, and continuous learning are valued.
Act as a thought leader, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices, conducting experimental analyses, and working in concert with internal and external partners to drive forward-looking insights and innovative solutions.
**Job contribution:** This role is designed for a technical professional with expert level experience and ability to serve as advisor on technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will not only possess a profound analytical skill set and technical expertise but also demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, articulate communication, and a genuine passion for data storytelling.
**Qualifications**
Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant technical discipline. M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
8+ years of experience with demonstrated mastery in data analysis, advanced techniques, and strategic thinking
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI. Python/R and Snowflake experience is a plus.
Proven track record influencing business decisions and actions with compelling narratives from insights. Wireless industry experience preferred.

Our Lead Advanced Analytics, earn between $128,400 - $215,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
