Responsibilities include:
Lead the development of advanced algorithms in robotics using state-of-the-art techniques.Create sandbox simulations, deployable implementations, and evaluation frameworks for algorithm performance and robustness.Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and robotics from reputable groups.Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent experience.8+ years of full-time industry experience in robotics and/or machine learning.Proven track record of working with robotics and/or machine learning in production settings.Strong background in machine learning and robotics with experience in:Planning and control algorithms (e.g., A*, MPC).Optimization techniques (e.g., linear/nonlinear optimization).State estimation algorithms (e.g., EKF, Particle Filter).Robotics toolkits (e.g., ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, Isaac).Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.Reinforcement Learning and Imitation Learning.Software development for deployable machine learning systems.Familiarity with mapping techniques using LiDAR/ToF, mono/stereo vision (e.g., 2D/3D occupancy grid mapping, structure from motion).Preferred: Familiarity with foundation models and large language models.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
