Principal Product Consultant With R Software Development Experience

Reporting to the VP Scientific Strategy and Product Innovation, the Principal Product Consultant will act as a key subject matter expert on the technical, scientific, and operational deployment and implementation of Cytel's statistical software products. The candidate will demonstrate advanced technical abilities coupled with a strong business acumen, will have a passion for working closely with customers to solve their trial design problems, and will drive efficiency through innovation.
Job Responsibilities:Putting the Customer First Strategically engage with customers to maximize value and significantly contribute to the expansion and growth of Cytel's product footprint.Actively contribute to in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify gaps and contribute original ideas based on statistical and business best practices.Identify and develop product champions within Cytel's customer base and support them in meeting their business goals.Act as a trusted and reliable partner to key Cytel software users.Coordinate with Customer Success team to continually refine and improve onboarding processes.Research and Development Contribute to Cytel's open-source innovation roadmap through research and development within a team of architects and developers.Provide advanced statistical and programming product support.Support Product Development in prioritizing and testing new product features.Grow Cytel's Business Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success teams to promote Cytel's software products via technical demonstration.Participate in the promotion of Cytel's products and overall brand to increase industry awareness and enthusiasm for Cytel's product solutions.Identify customer projects that can be used as public presentations.Communicate customer insights to drive strategic product improvements to align with Cytel business goals.Collaborate with Account Management team for strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities.Qualifications:Education: Graduate degree in Biostatistics or similar field. PhD preferred.Experience: 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrating leadership in biostatistics methodology, clinical trial design, and advanced programming (especially in R).Skills:Demonstrated aptitude to rapidly learn Cytel products.Exceptional presentation skills.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Advanced statistical programming ability in R.Experience working with AI/ML methodology.
