Position Summary:
The Principal Remote Care Specialist will provide technical and educational expertise in cardiac device management, review remote transmissions, and offer troubleshooting support. This an office based position in Houston, Texas is integral to maintaining high service standards for patients and healthcare professionals across the United States. The ideal candidate must also have the aptitude to assume technical team people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical and Educational Expertise: Provide comprehensive technical and educational support for cardiac device management. Transmission Technical Review: Review remote transmissions for all Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) vendors. Troubleshooting Support: Offer troubleshooting assistance as needed to resolve technical issues promptly. Documentation: Maintain accurate and appropriate documentation of all technical activities and interactions. Software Utilization: Utilize and maintain internal software systems efficiently. Customer Onboarding: Assist with the technical aspects of the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition. Market Dynamics: Partner with colleagues to understand market and customer dynamics. Competitive Landscape: Maintain an overall understanding of the competitive landscape and stay current with new CRM products. Task Completion: Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Credential Maintenance: Ensure necessary technical credentials are maintained and up to date. Team Leadership Potential: Demonstrate the aptitude for assuming people management responsibilities within the technical team. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least five years of technical experience in cardiac rhythm management? Certifications: Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) or Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring Specialist (CDRMS) certified by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE). Skills: Extensive understanding of medical terminology. Outstanding work ethic and customer service skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
