We are seeking an experienced Associate Director or Director of Process Chemistry for Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADC) to join our Biopharmaceutical Development team. In this critical role, you will lead the development and optimization of synthetic routes for ADC production, ensuring high quality and efficiency in our drug development processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of process chemists to design and optimize processes for ADC synthesis. Developing robust and scalable production processes, focusing on yield, purity, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Analytical, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with industry standards. Driving innovation by evaluating new technologies and methodologies to enhance ADC production. Overseeing documentation and reporting of experimental work, ensuring adherence to GLP and GMP practices. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Requirements To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
PhD in Chemistry or a related field with a focus on process development and synthetic chemistry. 8+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with at least 4 years specifically in ADC development. Strong technical expertise in organic chemistry and experience with conjugation chemistry. Proven track record of leading projects from early development to late-stage clinical supply. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality systems relevant to biopharmaceutical production.
