Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will provide leadership for a plant value stream while optimizing the end-to-end value stream process.
This role involves managing cross-functional teams, identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, and ensuring that value is delivered effectively to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean management, process improvement, and strategic planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and increase production line, value stream, and product flow Create continuous product flow, utilize pull systems to level the workload between team members and work cells Collaborate with Supply Chain on inventory planning and management Ability to analyze inventory, sales, and other data to make long-range forecasts for staffing requirements. Ability to read and interpret detailed prints, sketches, and specifications. Team member assessment, coaching and development including natural High-Performance work teams Provide effective cross training for value stream associates and backups from other value streams to assure the continuous smooth running of the value stream KEYS TO THIS OPPORTUNITY Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field 1-5 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience preferred Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills including leading High-Performance Teams Experience with LEAN techniques and leading LEAN events; certification a plus
