Production Assistant

Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible Production Assistant to help with the workflow and daily production quotas associated with our wholesale clients and store. Vía Láctea is one of the first few puertorican companies to offer a 4 day work week! The position is a steady 9am-6pm tuesday to friday bracket; divided in two 3.5-hour shifts by an hour long lunch break. Hot plant-based lunch provided daily, Paid Time Off and Employee Discounts. We have free parking on premises.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
Arriving on time to shifts
Making sure utensils and cookware is clean and tidy
Maintaining the dish pit empty.
Assisting in any and all production related tasks
Working closely with senior kitchen staff and relieving work
End of shift cleaning of the kitchen
Assisting in family meals
Making sure mise en place is set for recipes
Getting familiar with kitchen terms
PRODUCTION ASSISTAN REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Self transportation
Open availability
Willingness to learn
Follows instructions to the letter
Wears appropriate kitchen attire for safety
Health Certificate
Good Conduct Certificate
