Crown Staffing is hiring for our clients site, Magna Exteriors - Highland Park! We are working with material consisting of bumpers, grills, back doors and other various smaller parts.
This is a fast paced position that your attendance is crucial.
$18.00 hourly Paid weekly on Friday Long term position Benefits/PTO and 401(k) available Forklift General Job Duties

•Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of MEHP to provide for a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.
•Maintain proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned tasks.
•To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Highland Park.
•To perform daily cross-functional job assignments in all areas of your assigned department per the established procedures and work guidance.
•Participate and support all lean, continuous improvement programs, initiatives and activities.
•Meet or exceed daily production goals as directed by the Production Team Leader and the departmental objectives.
•Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Production Team Leader.
•Record and report all data required to maintain daily production records and submit the data to the Production Team Leader for input into the MEHP data collection system.
•Direct all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
•Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company radios, business use only.
•Must be able to work overtime in accordance with Company policy.
•Perform all assigned tasks per the work guidance sheets, TPMs and quality alerts.
Forklift Job Description for Forklift Driver
•Assist other forklift drivers as needed.
•Perform Daily Forklift Inspections and turn in to the Safety Department.
•Change propane tanks in accordance with established safety procedures including the wearing of proper PPE.
•Participate in rotating schedule to update 5s board.
•Perform other duties as assigned by the production Team Leader.
Forklift Educational Requirements
•Ability to read, write and speak English effectively along with basic mathematical skills required.
•Must successfully complete and pass the theory and practical training module as stated in the MEHP Forklift Safety Policy to obtain a license and operate a forklift.
•Must successfully pass a practical re-certification audit, every three years or as required through OSHA Standards.
Forklift Related Work Experience
•Previous forklift experience preferred as well as an understanding of manufacturing operations.
Forklift Physical Requirements
•This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of four (4) hours a day, the ability to lift up to
15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and the ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis. Must have full range of motion of neck, shoulders, knees, waist and torso. Frequent repetitive motion is required for a minimum of (4) four hours per day. This position also requires a person to be capable of performing sustained motion for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day. Good vision at a close distance is required. This position may involve outdoor work year round with exposure to both hot and cold temperatures. (See attached sheet for detailed physical description of this position.)
Forklift Training Requirements
You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with MEHP business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality, continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be an essential part of your job and MEHP business operations.
