Vaccine Protocol Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Center for Transition & Career Innovation (CTCI) at the University of Maryland is recruiting a full-time Faculty Specialist to work as an integral member of the Center. CTCI is housed within one of the nationally top-ranked Colleges of Education on the flagship campus of the University of Maryland system. Current CTCI projects include state and federally funded education, training, technical assistance, and research contracts and grants designed to improve the academic, employment, and independent living outcomes of youth and adults with disabilities.

This position is accountable for grant-funded projects, ensuring the effective allocation and utilization of resources in alignment with grant guidelines. This role involves analyzing project outcomes, maintaining compliance with grant requirements, and providing valuable insights to enhance project efficacy. The Program Analyst will serve as a key liaison between project staff, fostering communication and collaboration to achieve project goals within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities:
Grants development and management pre and post award
Contributions to grant proposals including project-based budgets
Management and monitoring use of grant monies awarded to ensure adherence to all terms and conditions
Grants management support to project Principal Investigators and Project Coordinators
Serving as liaison with the department's fiscal director and the Office of Research Administration for conformance with university regulations and CTCI goals
Recommendations for potential funding sources and assistance in developing contracts and agreements related to grant activities
Preparation of quarterly and annual reports and a CTCI annual plan related to CTCI fiscal forecast
Attends project related meetings with the funding sponsor;
Initiates authority for purchases and payments (within prescribed limits of authority), and
Development of office and/or project procedural guidance
