As a Program Operations Coordinator... Your primary responsibility will be to provide operational coordination and management across highly classified areas of program execution. You will research, create, and establish processes to ensure priorities are completed in a timely and innovative manner to meet program and sponsor requirements. You will work closely with Program Managers (PM) to implement business operations through the life-cycleof a program to include proposals, project execution, and close out. You will collaborate and represent the program with other APL organizations (security, information technology, contracts, facilities etc.) to ensure successful execution, in matters including but not limited to: project breakthroughs, deadlines, facilities, and security coordination. You will work closely and collaborate with the APL security team to support the tracking and coordination of program security related requests with internal and sponsor stakeholders. You will monitor and track the status of security service tickets and accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and comprehensive awareness of their progress. You will collaborate with sponsors and their representatives to ensure clearances are prepared, oversee the coordination of scheduling, reservations, logistics, and attend meetings to develop and communicate action items. You will support the program in the procurement management life-cycle. You will develop a high-level understanding of the technical work being performed by the program, the sponsor missions, and be able to adequately convey the impact and importance to others. You will effectively collaborate with the Financial Manager (FM) and other Operations Coordinators to foster a highly communicative and collaborative business operations team. You will perform other duties as assigned in support of the program. QualificationsYou meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you... Have a Bachelor's Degree in business, project management, finance, or a related field. Have 3+ years of relevant experience in the areas of project operations or project management with a demonstrated proficiency in tracking, monitoring and updating program schedules, achievements and/or contract deliverables. Possess strong communication skills with demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with all levels of management and government officials. Are willing and able to work full time onsite at the JHU/APL campus and/or the sponsor site. Demonstrated capability to independently analyze, summarize and make recommendations on processes, procedures and project operations activities. Have experience in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environment. Have prior experience working on classified DoD or IC programs and familiarity with associated security protocols. Hold an active TS/SCI+poly security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship. The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. APL provides eligible staff with a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, and training and development.
