We are seeking a Program Support Specialist to join Amplify's Central Services team, which supports the Supply Chain Organization with its Continuous Process Improvement programs and projects. Reporting to the AVP, Technology & Process Management, you'll be pivotal in coordinating the Central Services Jira board, facilitating change management coordination, and aligning ongoing projects with the PMO organization. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about program coordination and eager to gain exposure to change management and project processes.
Key Responsibilities: Gain familiarity with Central Services policies, procedures, and best practices and help enforce these standards across the program intake process.
Manage the full cycle of Jira board operations, including reviewing, triaging, and routing submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper assignment to relevant teams.
Utilize program and guideline knowledge to make decisions and resolve issues, ensuring intakes meet completion standards and coordinating with submitters to obtain necessary information.
Identify and address duplicative or closely aligned submissions, directing teams to modify current work cards to streamline efficiency and reduce redundancy.
Autonomously link and categorize issues and work submissions to align with team and departmental roadmaps, ensuring clarity on implications across teams.
Host and facilitate meetings to coordinate communication between teams regarding Jira cards, ensuring participants have relevant information beforehand to ensure transparency. Conduct quick alignment meetings to address inconsistencies and obtain necessary approvals.
Engage with the QA team and contribute to change control boards to ensure prompt and precise documentation of significant upcoming changes, while upholding alignment with the change management team.
Foster communication between the Central Services team and the PMO organization to ensure synchronization on ongoing projects and initiatives. Aid in establishing and sustaining processes for project intake and documentation, fostering comprehensive awareness of all organizational work.
Work closely with the Tech Management Manager to ensure technical-related tickets are accurately represented on the Jira board and linked to external Development Team tasks according to guidelines.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of program-related activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and procedures.
Implement and oversee compliance monitoring and tracking for the Jira board and tickets, measuring submission accuracy and closure rates, and ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
Prepare reports, deliverables, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key findings and insights.
Provide support to program managers, process engineers/analysts and project managers including specialized non-technical and administrative tasks
Qualifications: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years experience in project coordination or project management.
2+ years experience and demonstrable proficiency in Jira. Jira Administrative experience is a huge plus.
Familiarity with Scrum methodology
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, while also being a team player.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Scrum certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or other Agile certifications.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred) with demonstrable experience applying these methodologies to print and distribution processes.
Prior experience in the K12 educational technology or publishing sector, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this domain.
What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $54,000 - $60,000.
